Hi, I'm Liz, and I've been passionate about beauty therapy since I qualified at Beverley College with a BTEC National Diploma at 18 years old. With over 27 years of experience in the industry, I still genuinely love what I do every single day.

Peartree Beauty was established in 2005 in the little market town where I grew up - Market Weighton. Owning my own salon was always my dream from the moment I began my beauty therapy journey, and seeing that dream become a reality has been incredibly rewarding. Here I am, 27 years later, still doing the job I love, and I wouldn't change it for the world.

My aim has always been to create a welcoming, relaxing environment where every client feels comfortable, cared for and leaves feeling their absolute best. I'm down to earth, honest and believe that every treatment should be tailored to the individual, delivering not only great results but also an enjoyable experience from start to finish.

I'm passionate about using products that are a little different—carefully chosen brands that share my values of quality, care and effectiveness. Rather than stocking products you'll find on every high street, I look for unique, professional brands that genuinely make a difference and reflect the level of care I want to give each of my clients. Brands which include Sothys Professional Skin Care, Bio Sculpture Gel nails, iCon Ultra Platinum Lift Facial, Mii Makeup, Airyday SPF products & Tipsy Candle Collection.

My favourite treatments have to be facials. I absolutely love performing them and truly believe everyone should experience a professional facial at least once. They're not only wonderful for your skin but are also an incredible form of self-care—a chance to switch off, relax and leave feeling refreshed, both inside and out.

I also specialise in cryotherapy, helping clients safely and effectively remove skin tags, warts and sun damage. It's a treatment I really enjoy because it's so rewarding to see the difference it can make to someone's confidence.

The beauty industry is always evolving, and I love keeping up to date with new treatments, techniques and products. I'm always looking for exciting new additions to bring to the salon, so my clients can enjoy the very best that the industry has to offer.

When I'm not in the salon, you'll usually find me horse riding, walking my dog, reading, cooking or spending time outdoors with my animals and friends. Spending time outside with my horses and dog gives me the chance to reset, recharge, relax and enjoy some exercise too—something I believe is so important for both the mind and body.
